How to use a Ticket Issuing Machine (TIM)
Receiving coins only. |

A Ticket Issuing Machine (TIM) requires 5 or 10 Baht coins. Change can be obtained at any BTS Station Ticket Office. (Machines only give change in 5 Baht coins) |

Use the Fare Information Chart and the BTS Route Map to note your present location (yellow symbol) and your destination station. The number in the circle at the destination station represents the zone you are traveling to. Note the fare in the adjacent fare chart. |

Push the button number corresponding to the zone to which you are traveling, before inserting any money. The display will confirm fare required. |

| 4. |
Insert coins. |

Take ticket from the ticket-dispensing slot. |

Take change if any. |

How to use an Integrated Ticketing Machine (ITM)
Receiving both coins and banknotes. |

An Integrated Ticketing Machine (ITM) receives 20, 50, 100 Baht banknotes or 5 or 10 Baht coins. Change can be obtained at any BTS Station Ticket Office. (Machines only give change in 5 Baht coins) |
