Question |
What is the advantage of a 30 Baht traveling deposit on a BTS SKY SmartPass? |
| |
Answer |
The 30 Baht traveling deposit facilitates passengers in leaving the paid area, in the case that remaining value on their pass is under the required fare. |
|
|
|
| e.g. Current Value on pass |
: |
15 Baht |
| Fare to be paid |
: |
30 Baht |
| |
The Automatic Exit Gate deducts the excess fare of 15 Baht from the traveling deposit, resulting in a negative value of 15 Baht on the pass, as shown on the cardreader display screen. Passengers should then add value to the pass after leaving the paid area, or before next traveling. |
