How many types of BTS Ticket are there? |

There are 2 types which are 1. the Magnetic Ticket, including Single Journey Ticket and One-Day Pass; and 2. the BTS SmartPass, including BTS Sky SmartPass (Stored Value SmartPass) and BTS 30-Day SmartPass. |

What is a One-Day Pass? |

A One-Day Pass allows unlimited rides and travel distance within the operating hours (06.00 – 24.00 hrs.) on the issuing or registered date. The One-Day Pass is non-refundable and can be purchased at any Ticket Office. |

What is the lifetime of a BTS SmartPass? |

BTS SmartPasses have a 5 Year Card Life starts from date of issue. Passengers can add value or trips to your SmartPass upon promotion at any BTS Ticket Office. |

From when does the validity period for the 30-Day SmartPass start being counted? |

The validity period for the 30-Day SmartPass will be counted from the date when the pass is first used at an automatic gate and the transaction completed. For instances, if a passenger buys a 30 Day SmartPass on 1 April 2010 and start to use it immediately, then the pass will expire on 30 April 2010, or when the number of trips have been used (whichever is sooner) |

If I buy a BTS 30 Day SmartPass or BTS SKY SmartPass but I don't use it immediately, what will happen? |

Use of the BTS 30 Day SmartPass needs to be started within 45 days after purchase, otherwise the value on the card will expire and be non-refundable. For example, if you buy a 30 Day SmartPass on 1 April 2010, you have to start using it between 1 April- 15 May 2010. For the BTS SKY SmartPass, passenger must use the pass within 2 years after the date of issue, value is added, or it is used. Otherwise the remaining value on the card will expire and be non-refundable. |
