  BTS One-Day Pass 'The eight new species of dinosaur discovered in Thailand ' Series 2.

BTS SkyTrain, in cooperation with the Department of Mineral Resources, proudly presents a special BTS One-Day Pass Set entitled: 'The eight new species of dinosaur discovered in Thailand', to inroduce the eight new species of dinosaur which were discovered in Thailand.

This pass collection comprises of 2 designs.

1. Kinnareemimus khonkaenensis

2. Psittacosaurus sattayaraki

1. Kinnareemimus khonkaenensis, Buffetaut Suteethorn and Tong 2009, is a small theropod dinosaur, meat eating, ornithichian, 130 million years ago. Type specimen was discovered in Phu Wiang Mountain, Changwat Khon Kaen. The type species, K. khonkaenensis, were derived from khonkaen, a province name of northeastern part of Thailand.

2. Psittacosaurus sattayaraki, Buffetaut and Suteethorn 1992, is a sauropod dinosaur, plant eating, parrot lizard, 100 million years ago. Type species, “P. sattayaraki” was named in honor to Mr. Nares Sattayarak, senior geologist of Department of Mineral Resources, who discovered the type specimen in Changwat Chaiyaphum.
