  The BTS SkyTrains are typical of high-capacity mass transit trains in wide use in many major cities across the globe. Each train uses an electric motor to run along an elevated rail with two rails operating, one in each direction. The standard rail gauge is 1.435 meters. There is a conductor rail or third-rail system to one side which adds to safety with no effect on the scenery. This train system is both efficient and responsive with a capacity for more than 50,000 passengers per hour.
  The signaling system is designed to be highly secure even in the event of system interruption. In such circumstances, train status will always be adjusted to ensure passengers safety. With particular attention to matters of safety, the BTSs operating system is equipped with other control systems such as Collision Prevention System and Speed Control System.
